After witnessing the murder of one of her dearest friends, Khalida finds herself caught between doing what she knows is right and letting go of her past. With the help of the Network, an organization created to keep her secrets buried, Khalida will battle enemies as old as time. But will the secrets of her past destroy everything she knows and loves?
Soon, another friend is facing his death, and she will have to save him. Others will follow, and she will have to make the hardest decision of her life. There is only one way to save her friends from this enemy. As she races against time, Khalida will learn that sometimes your past comes back to haunt you, even when you are a vampire.

Sponsorship

Reining In is today's sponsor at Kindle Boards. I'm happy to say that it has been great so far. Reining in went from #81,582 to #4,163 in the bestsellers rank for kindle. How exciting. Not only that, but I have sold more books today than I have in the last 6 weeks. I hope this does a lot to help get the book noticed. I have been considering sponsoring Kindle Nation, and after the success of this sponsorship, I think I will go ahead and do it.

Covers

Reining In is getting a facelift. I have a friend working on some new covers for both Reining In and Finding Hope. So far, I love what he's done. Here is a sneak peak at the new Reining In cover. You will have to wait to see the one for Finding Hope.

Book Carnival

The North High FCCLA team is putting on a Book Carnival this fall, and yours truly is going to be there. I'm really excited about this event. Several of my fellow authors have donated items to give away at the event, which is just wonderful. One of the other authors from Breakout Books will be there. It will be neat to meet him in person. I am really hoping to have Finding Hope completed before then. I know there will be a lot of the kids from North flocking to my table to get a copy, so I've been working hard to get it completed. It sounds like a fun time and I can hardly wait! Check back later for dates and times.

Getting it out there!

Just ordered my books for the Signing Event. And I just got an email from the Lillian Tear Library in Sedgwick, telling me they would put a copy on their shelves! Yay.

And the winners are......

I apologize for not posting the results of the drawing sooner. I was out of town Sunday, and home sick yesterday. I decided to draw two names instead of one, so here are your winners: Tammy Hartmann and Ami Blackwelder. I will contact both of you privately. If you didn't win, you can still enter the drawings on Goodreads and LibraryThing.
