After witnessing the murder of one of her dearest friends, Khalida finds herself caught between doing what she knows is right and letting go of her past. Reining In is getting a facelift. I have a friend working on some new covers for both Reining In and Finding Hope. So far, I love what he's done. Here is a sneak peak at the new Reining In cover. You will have to wait to see the one for Finding Hope.

Book Carnival

The North High FCCLA team is putting on a Book Carnival this fall, and yours truly is going to be there. I'm really excited about this event. Several of my fellow authors have donated items to give away at the event, which is just wonderful. One of the other authors from Breakout Books will be there. It will be neat to meet him in person. I am really hoping to have Finding Hope completed before then. I know there will be a lot of the kids from North flocking to my table to get a copy, so I've been working hard to get it completed. It sounds like a fun time and I can hardly wait! Check back later for dates and times.
